This is a companion piece to the vintage pen & ink drawing posted yesterday, showing more detail. The ivory French mat has a fine black drawn 1/2″ from the opening and another bolder black line 3/8″ from the first. The panel between the black lines is colored a soft blush hue to complement the delicate ink drawing of the dancers.

Monday’s child is fair of face,
Tuesday’s child is full of grace;
Wednesday’s child is full of woe,
And Thursday’s child has far to go.
Friday’s child is loving and giving,
Saturday’s child must work for a living;
And the child born on a Sabbath day is blithe and bonny, and good and gay.
