This Labor Day weekend, Corners will be open for regular business hours on Friday and Saturday. However we will not have a First Friday Gallery Event. Save the date for next month, though! We’ve got a special Authors Night planned for October 7th.
Here’s an article from House & Garden with excellent advice on hanging pictures as well as a nice gallery of examples!
There will be exhibits at 6 different venues in the following weeks. The first is to open this Saturday at the Millstone Gallery at COCA. Check out this article at CBS St. Louis:
“Past all the rubble is true beauty that you’ve kept hidden.”
This beautiful sunburst was salvaged from the rubble of a stupa in Nepal that had been destroyed by earthquake.
Meet Cindy O’Hare tonight at Corners’ First Friday Gallery event. Of herself, Cindy says, “I’ve forever been a gatherer of Mother Nature’s treasures…I’ve always had sticks, leaves and rocks in my coat pockets! What started out as a simple art project with my granddaughter, Bee, has turned into something unexpected and exciting for me.” Cindy may bring some gathered “treasures” and you can follow her as she discovers the images hidden in our natural surroundings!
This Friday is Gallery Night! Stop in between 6 and 9 to see what’s new at Corners. We have two new artists, Cindy O’Hare and Bert Andrews, plus additional pieces from our favorite artists and hand crafters.
It is installed! Congratulations to Laura Saunders Kaiser for being chosen to have her art displayed at the North County Transit Center!
