Thanks to everyone that turned out last night to celebrate our 3rd anniversary! We were packed all evening with wonderful customers and several of our artists, some of whom brought new items. You can still register to win a $30 custom framing gift certificate if you stop by the shop today before 2:00!
We just got a little mention on the Painting for Peace Children’s Book blog in their post about shopping local. Check out their article and description of Corners as well as several other fantastic Ferguson businesses where you can take care of your Christmas shopping!
Braxton DeGarmo is a Ferguson author of suspenseful novels based around St. Louis and eastern Missouri. His thrillers include five books in the popular Medair Series, as well as two stand-alone novels, The Militant Genome and Indebted. Meet him at Corners Frameshop & Gallery this Friday evening, October 7th, from 6 till 9.
Dr. Jimmy Watson, pastor of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Ferguson, shares his thoughts on the topic of Christology with new and creative insights, informative and accessible theology, personal anecdotes, and lively wit. Big Jesus is not a sentimental fairy tale to be served up on Sunday mornings with fluffy sheep, little children, and footprints in the sand. This book is for Christian adults with a sense of humor. Dr. Watson joins us at Corners Frameshop & Gallery for Local Authors Night on October 7th.
Dee Livers, the author of two children’s books entitled Maxwell The Day-Maker and Eva And Boo At The St. Louis Zoo, will be at Corners Frameshop & Gallery for Local Authors Night this Friday, October 7th. She is pictured here with her grandchildren Max and Eva, the inspirations for her lively stories.
Ferguson Streetfest was September 23 & 24! We created a large frame for our tent at the end near the stage. People brought friends and took their own selfie photos. It was a huge hit!!!

I attended the opening at COCA and I’m looking forward to seeing the exhibit at Vaughn Cultural Center. I’ve also seen the display at Ferguson Youth Initiative in the Backbay. Each exhibit has different boards on display so each venue’s exhibit is unique.
Both the Painting for Peace children’s book and the coloring book for all ages are available at Corners in the Gallery.
